Obsidianwire are my "go to" solderless harnesses

I started using exlusively Obsidianwire harnesses since 2020 (two traditional strat harnesses, one with Blender, and two HSS).

I bought this to replace one of my old HSS harnesses, I was only interested in the HSH mode (there is a HSS/HSH on the PCB) switch but I also wanted to have the extra pup combinations available so I opted for the 7 way switch.

Qualitywise, Obsidianwire is top notch. End of story.

This one can also do (via the Push/Pull on Tone 2) Bridge+Neck and Bridge+Middle+Neck.

If you are not like me, always operating my pups on full humbucker mode, this harness can autosplit (just use all four cables of your humbuckers instead of two).

My strats are Fender Japan (CIJ and MIJ) and these harnesses fit just fine. The same goes for the MIA strats.

So, if you are sick and tired about soldering, just find the proper Obsidianwire that meets your requirement, install it, and forget all about it. Works great for guys and gals that are experimentng with different pickups all the time.

Really good, but volume pot sounds bad after one year in use

Easy to install. It itook while to put cables correct for the single coils. But once all was done, it worked perfectly. Now after one year, the volume pot makes a scraping noise. Obsidian themselves claimed they only uses high quality components. I have not had this issue in any guitar for over 25 years. Every time I use this guitar I need to rotate the volume pot back and forth for a couple of minutes before I can play on it.

Einfacher geht es nicht

Sehr einfache Installation, funktionierte gleich einwandfrei und die Passung in meiner Fender AM Strat war perfekt. Der Push Pull Poti ist sehr leichtgängig - hoffe der hält sehr lange, denn der Sound Bridge und Neck PU zusammen ist absolut genial.

Spedizione veloce e bravi come sempre per chi cerca un push pull non lo consiglio non funziona come premi stacca e attacca bisogna prendere manualmente il bottone tirare e spingere il resto va benissimo
