An Enchanting C Tinwhistle In Both Looks And Sound

I am more than happy with my purchase of this Clarke gold plated tinwhistle in C.
It comes in a luxury red presentation box with a real leather carry case, a certificate of authenticity, a stylish printed polishing cloth and a cleaning brush. Just about everything we need to keep our tinwhistle well cared for.
The tinwhistle is conical so it brings a certain baroque touch to its unique sound and tone requiring a bit more air and playing with perfect articulation and fluency on both octaves producing solid notes with good volume.
Playing it at home, at church or in Nature is like travelling back in time and having an original sound experience unequalled by other whistles.
The gold plating is high-quality and sheer delight to one's sight and touch.
I am really very happy to have treated myself to this musical jewel.

Habe mir diese Flöte vor vier Tagen zu Weihnachten geschenkt. Das Set macht was her und die Flöte sieht sehr hochwertig aus. Der Ton ist angenehm. Habe im Nachhinein gelesen, dass das Walnuss-Mundstück nicht wirklich für Anfänger empfohlen wird, dafür der Ton aber besser sei. Ich hoffe, meine Erfahrungen mit Block- und Querflöte gleichen das aus. Trotzdem muss das Überblasen für die höheren Töne erstmal geübt werden. Das wird aber mit jedem Tag besser.
Durch die beigefügte Grifftabelle und drei Lieder kann man sofort loslegen. Praktisch sind auch die Reinigungsbürste, das Tuch (mit aufgedruckter Grifftabelle) und die schicke Ledertasche.
Geliefert wurde alles schnell und mit dreifacher Absicherung, dass auch wirklich nix kaputt gehen kann. Also zum Verschenken und sich selbst beschenken kann ich dieses Set sehr empfehlen.
