Great for your first tinwhistle!

Anonymní 27.01.2016

Allong with this green tinwhistle I bought the black version, and they both sound good!

The only difference between this tinwhistles is the color; though the green one came with the logo placed a bit offset, but it doesnt effect the playability whatsoever! It's still a nice looking instrument, the finnish looks cool!

This tinwhistle sounds good and is extremely affordable!

Simple and stable

midnightdim 26.07.2018

I'm not a professional whistle player, I bought this whistle along with 3 others to learn and try them. And, of course, for fun :-)

This one is built well (it has only 2 pieces - a metal body and a plastic mouthpiece) and is quite stable in terms of the sound - It the plastic mouthpiece makes it quite reliable and predictable compared to whistles with wooden parts in the mouthpiece.

I like the sound and it's easy to use. I know other whistles that sound better to my ear but they also cost much more.
This one is very simple, but sometimes less is more :-)

A Good Tin Whistle

Monksee 26.04.2024

This Tin Whistle has a soft sound. I prefer the sound of the higher octave on this Tin Whistle than the lower octave. It has a good sound when you hit those higher notes (it doesn't sound harsh like other tin whistles on the higher notes). The pouch that comes with it is a nice addition. :)

Not for beginners and not for experts

Shadetreepaul 27.09.2026

I'm not sure who this is for. It is too frustrating for beginners because it is very difficult to get a clear sound for every note (maybe it is just me). Also, I would say it is not high quality for the more experienced player. I had a lot more fun and enjoyed the tone of the plastic Thomann Irish Whistle (even though it doesn't have perfect tuning).
