The traditional 2 screw lig. supplied with the instrument was giving me some trouble with inconsistent set up when attaching a reed and insecurity of holding it. The optimum lig. answered these shortcomings and provides an assured reed attachment with the single screw. A great product.

Nachdem ich bisher nur textile Blattschrauben verwendet oder gewickelt habe, bin ich sehr positiv überrascht, dass man mit der Vandoren Optimum tatsächlich einen Unterschied merkt. Die Ansprache mit den Längsrillen ist deutlich besser und klarer im Vergleich zu den einfachen textilen Blattschrauben. Das merkt man besonders im Clarin-Register.

Der Austausch der Platten ist nicht ganz trivial. Am besten das Erklärvideo auf YT anschauen und mit Gefühl vorgehen, da die Optimum sehr leicht verbiegt. Wenn man's mal raus hat, klappt es ganz gut.

Leider ist die mitgelieferte Kapsel zu weit, so dass sie nur ganz lose auf dem Mundstück (getestet mit Yamaha, Vandoren und Selmer Mundstücken) sitzt und schnell herunterfällt, wenn man nicht aufpasst. Da habe ich mir bei dem Preis schon mehr erwartet, Vandoren!
