Multi-Functional LED Spotlight with 4 Effects in One Device

With its SMD LED equipment, the Wild Wash series is a magic box for events and shows of all kinds. Whether on small to large stages, in clubs of all sizes, exhibitions, vernissages, exhibition stands, etc., the Wild Wash floods, strobes and dazzles whenever it is desired. Control is easy via DMX or in stand-alone mode with automatic function.

Kvalitní světlo za malo peněz

Pokud hledáte kompaktní světlo, které chcete využít jako wash nebo jako stroboskop, je toto světlo ideální volba. Je bez ventilátorů, takže se hodí i do prostor, kde je vyžadováno ticho. Horší je trochu stmívací křivka, která na začátku není lineární. Také by se hodil o něco vyšší výkon, kolem 250 W. Ale za tu cenu je to uspokojivé.

Great Flood Unit

Colour rendition - Deep Red (darker than 106) to 119 blue. (Better purple/lilac rendition than I was expecting), "white" is cold.
Illumination - I used 7 of these to adequately replace 4 x 1Kw tungsten asymetric floods.
Coverage - 7 was ample for 7m high x 12m wide at 2m distance from cloths, with good overlap of beams - no visible beam edges.
Fades - colour change is slightly stepped, however currently running on 8bit generic RGB profile from control desk (DMX setting 3Ch3 on unit). Possibly better results if on a 16bit profile. Intensity fade is smooth throughout range.

Menu interface is intuitive.

Build quality is superb, very solid units that will survive normal indoor usage. Would be tourable if flightcased properly. All good quality connections on the back.

Unit comes with 1.5m DMX cable and powerlink to mains cable.

Sehr hell, gute Farbmischung

Bereits beim Auspacken gab es den ersten Überraschungsfaktor: Die Größe. Das Gerät ist etwas größer und vor Allem schwerer als angenommen, was aber nicht tragisch ist. Die Ausleuchtung ist sehr gut, bei kleinen Veranstaltungen ist das Gerät definitiv als Blinder einsetzbar. Die Farbausgabe des Gerätes ist gut, jedoch nicht sehr akurat. Es kann zwar jede belibige Farbe eingestellt werden, dennoch gibt das Gerät die Farben teilweise stark abweichend vom Color-Picker aus. Ist aber auch nicht weiter schlimm, dann muss man halt so lange "blind" im Color-Picker suchen, bis man die gewünschte Farbe gefunden hat. Die Stroboskob-Funktion ist definitiv vergleichbar mit einem Röhrenstroboskob, zwar ist der Wild Wash nicht ganz so hell, aber immerhin kann man jede belibige Farbe einstellen. Ein weiterer Grund, mir das Gerät zu kaufen war, dass Power Con In und sogar Out verbaut ist, was in dieser Preisklasse absolut noch kein Standard ist. Einzig das Dimmen wirkt in dot2 zumindest etwas ruckelig.

Schönes und helles Gerät

Wir haben uns die Fluter als Raumausleuchtung gekauft, nutzen sie hin und wieder aber auch als Front- oder Effektlicht. Das Gerät ist gut verarbeitet, alle Teile fühlen sich gut und nicht billig an. Die Knöpfe hinten wirken zwar etwas "schwächer", aber das ist bei dem Preis absolut in Ordnung! Die Bedienung ist nach Anleitung sehr einfach zu verstehen. Wir haben uns gegen den kleinen Bruder entschieden, weil die Pro Variante Powercon Anschlüsse besitzt, was wir bei uns zuhauf haben (und weil man damit die Lampen durchschleifen kann).

Was mich an Stairville Lampen stört (wir haben auch ein paar LED PAR Kannen bei uns) ist die teilweise fragwürdige Kanalverwendung. Es ist im 3Ch3 Modus schon deutlich besser, als bei den PAR Kannen (Die brauchen ja 7 DMX Kanäle), aber ich verstehe nicht, warum in nahezu jedem Modus der Dimmer Kanal und/oder Musiksteuerungskanal mit drin ist. Bei den Strobe-Modi macht das ja Sinn, aber warum ich beim 6Ch Modus, bei dem ich die Farben sowieso via Intensität mische, einen Dimmer Modus hat, ist mir nicht begreiflich. Ich habe ja ein Pult und kann damit Licht mischen. Auch warum ich in nahezu jedem Kanal eine Musiksteuerung habe, verstehe ich nicht.

Aber ansonsten sehr solide Lampe. Es macht Spaß, damit Licht zu mischen. Was mir noch besonders gefällt ist die Ringöse für das Safety. So wird auch wirklich die Lampe gesichert und nicht "nur" der Bügel.
