First the good then the bad.

The pros: Well thought guitar, feels great, plays great, finish is impeccable, no details no pointy frets, reliable, good wood and good hardware, stays in tune forever, the shape is ergonomic, neck is not to thin and not a baseball bat, it will probably suit most of people.

At this price, as a modern guitar made with CNC machines I wasn’t expecting any bad surprises on how the guitar is put together and I am really happy that everything fits perfectly.

The bad: I got unlucky (maybe) this unit I got came with a graph tech nut badly seated from factory, someone put the strings wrong and the A and D strings were really near to each other and far away from the low E that filled in basically a second slot for the A string that was going out of its place with every bend, I didn’t return it because it was the last model in stock and probably I will never find it available back again, long story short I had to wait 3 weeks to get the same graph tech nut because no shop cares to stock a left handed nut so they have to order it from the manufacturer directly, I changed the nut, the guitar was perfect, then realized that the battery was loose inside the compartment, the 9v battery metal contacts broke taking the battery out, they are the thinnest cheap pieces of metal I’ve I ever seen in my life in a battery contact. So I had to buy a pack of 9v contacts and I soldered a new one.
The guitar is now good, after basically a month waiting to play it.
it’s mind blowing that a 2000€ guitar comes with a worst battery compartment than a 1€ toy.

Another insane thing is the fact that for 2000€ Schecter doesn’t even give you a case, that’s just criminal.
