I was very happy that this switch was created. I need to adjust the volume while playing and this switch allows you to connect a volume pedal. Unfortunately, it has to be paired every time it is turned on. I could still survive that. But after a while of use, the switch stops switching, for example, 3 buttons light up at the same time, or they all go out,... A disaster for live playing. I waited half a year for a new firmware update, but it obviously didn't solve the problem. I have 2 switches and 2 Spar EDGE and Spark Live combos

Love this little wireless footswitch, well built and versatile.

Bought the spark Control X along with a positive grid spark 2 amp. The footswitch seems very sturdy and well built. Wireless so no more annoying cables spread across the floor. Found it easy to connect to the positive grid spark 2, and no latency when selecting effects. So light and easy to move yet solid when on the floor and does not slide when you press a switch with your foot. I have my footswitch set on Profile 2 at the moment and have not had to change it, but you can easily select any of 8 different footswitch profiles and you can customize it to suit your needs. Also has 2 inputs on the back for expression pedals, but i have not used these yet.
All in all i am very happy with it and it does everything that i need. Great.

Spark Control X review

Bought this one few months ago. It's an essential component for switching channels and utilizing the looper function of the Spark 2. On the positive side, there are 6 switches, the overall construction is sturdy and it is wireless which can be handy not messing with cables, which leads me to the negative side, where the bluetooth connection adds a barely noticeable latency in switching between presets. This one is not necessarily a problem if the Spark is used for jamming at home, but for rehearsing in studio or gigging, it could be a problem. There should be at least the option for wired connection. Furthermore, the Control X must be connected every time the Spark is used, it does not autoconnect. Not a problem for me, but for some people it might be.
For what it is and what it costs, it's good enough, but it can get some upgrades.
