Ein wunderbares Becken!

Ein gutes Becken ist eine echte Investition. Entsprechend umfangreich habe ich mich informiert: Auf der Homepage und auch vor Ort bei Thomann habe ich mich durch die riesige Vielfalt der angebotenen Becken gearbeitet. Erstaunlicherweise sind die Soundbeispiele wirklich aussagekräftig! Die im Netz ausgewählten Favoriten haben sich auch live als so klingende Becken herausgestellt. Letztendlich habe ich zwei Ride- Becken bestellt, zusammen mit der Band angespielt und mich für das Meinl Byzanz Traditional Light Ride entschieden. Der Sound ist "edel" (O-Ton Gitarrist), zaubert dem Bassisten regelmäßig ein breites Lächeln ins Gesicht und ist genau, was ich mir für den Einsatz in der Jazz- Band vorgestellt habe: Ein Rauschen mit einem wunderbaren Ton in genau der richtigen Höhe, eine trotzdem klare Ansprache, ein schöner Glockensound und beim Ancrashen ein nicht zu aggressives aber hörbares Attac.
Das die Fertigung in der Türkei und das Finish in Deutschland ein auch optisch sehr ansprechendes Becken hervorgebracht hat, ist das i- Tüpfelchen...
Ein gut aussehendes Becken, dass sich sehr angenehm spielen läßt und vor allem unglaublich schön klingt!
