Als ich das Meinl Byzance Medium Thin Crash 19" kaufte, wollte ich ein Becken, das mit dunklem vollen Klang besticht und sich auch lautstärketechnisch in einer Heavy Metal Combo durchsetzen kann.
Auf den individuellen Charakter durch Handhämmerung habe ich nun nicht wirklich Wert gelegt, könnte für anspruchsvolle Drummer noch etwas sein, die ein Custom-Set spielen, dass es so nicht oft gibt.

Klanglich der Hammer in allen Dynamikbeteichen, egal ob Rock, Pop, Metal oder Seichteres! Bei härteren Gangarten sollte man aber bedenken, dass die Materialstärke (es ist eben ein thin crash) kein hartes Spiel auf Jahre aushält.

Nach gut einiger Zeit verändert sich der Klang (ich konnte das neue Byzance direkt gegenüber dem alten testen, das ersetzt werden sollte).

Die hellen Obertöne nehmen über die ersten Monate ab. Das Becken klingt nun dunkler und reifer. Bin nach einem Jahr noch super zufrieden und kann dieses Becken weiterempfehlen.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Crash Becken das im Metal Bereich sehr gut passt und nicht zu hoch klingt.

Dieses habe ich nun gefunden. Anfangs klang es erst relativ hoch und konnte sich gut durchsetzten.
Nun habe ich es etwa 3 Monate gespielt und auf etlichen Auftritten gespielt. Der Ton ist etwas tiefer geworden und meiner Meinung nach jetzt perfekt!!

Ich bin mehr als zufrieden. Mein Traum-Crash habe ich endlich gefunden.

Bien équilibrée, un sustain assez long, fine mais pas trop, cette crash a du répondant et a une large plage de dynamiques. Super versatile, elle conviendra à beaucoup. Je m'en sers dans un stack personnellement et je la trouve parfaite dans ce rôle. Mais en crash, elle est explosive et puissante sans être trop brillante, c'est un vraiment instrument de musique qui saura répondre à celui ou celle qui frappe.
