L.R.Baggs Para Acoustic DI Preamp

There are two versions of the Para Acoustic Di available. The photos on the product page show the USA "handmade" version (which states "Handcrafted in the USA" on the front panel of the DI, but the product you'll receive has "Designed in California" on it and is made in Vietnam. Both of them are legitimate products made by LR Baggs, but the latter is the newer (outsourced) version. Unfortunately there are numerous complaints online about the latter version being made from cheaper components and I think the buyer should be informed in advance and be given the choice whether they want to buy the outsourced version or not. I had to return mine since I was assured by Thomann in the email that this is the original "Handcrafted in the USA" version, but I received the outsourced product.
