Magnifique :):)…Küng is the King!!

This instrument is a joy: a work of art in both looks and sound!! Its tone is sweet, clear and delightful, a true "Flauto Dolce", and every note is easy to play right from the start. The case in which it rests when not holding & playing it (both a joy!) is equally elegant & refined...in my opinion, much classier than that of Moeck. But the cleaning rod is a bit of a joke: if Kung includes this stick, then why not put a little cloth on it so it becomes actually functional? But this is a small complaint: the Marsyas is Magnifique, and has now become my beloved Magic Flute!!

Ein wunderschönes Instrument! Zur Verarbeitung muss ich bei der Firma Küng nicht viel sagen - hab einige Instrumente in meinem Besitz und bisher war immer alles anstandslos.
Die Angaben des Herstellers zur Marsyas kann ich nur bestätigen. Man benötigt verhältnismäßig wenig Luft. Die hohen Töne sind ohne Probleme spielbar. Die Flöte besitzt einen sehr feinen, süßen Klang. Sehr rein und klar. Gerade für Barock und Klassik gut geeignet. Für Folk und Renaissance würde ich aber doch zu einem anderen Modell greifen. Dafür ist sie zu lieblich und zu sehr eine Solo-Diva :-)

Einen Punkt Abzug gibt's dennoch, obwohl hier schon auf sehr hohem Niveau gemeckert wird: das Zapfenfett hat gefehlt. Bei diesem Preis erwarte ich eine vollständige Lieferung. Aber dieses kleine Döschen ist schlussendlich nur ein Pfennigartikel...

Lang naar uitgezien en voor gespaard, maar na bestelling snel gekomen. Een handzaam degelijk etui. En fraai.
Ik viel voor pruimenhout, om de prachtige tekening en kleur. En omdat het een tikkeltje harder is dan peer.
En ik viel voor Küng, om de rustige vormgeving.
Ik zette de delen in elkaar. Het leek mij onwaarschijnlijk dat uit zo'n vederlicht houtje een verhaal kan spreken. Maar toen ik de eerste noot - de lage c - blies viel ik van mijn stoel. Een hartveroverend geluid: krachtig, vol, zoet en overtuigend.
Wandelend naar de hoge tonen ontmoette ik enkel zuivere klanken, alle met het betoverende karakter van een houten instrument.
Ik ben al weer aan het sparen. Een alt, een tenor, een bas? Ik weet het nog niet.
Maar één ding weet ik wel: het wordt een Küng ... bij Thomann.
