I’ve been using the K&M 21411 for about six years now, and it is easily the best microphone stand I have ever owned.
At first, some of the adjustment parts felt almost too “plastic” to inspire complete confidence, but six years of heavy studio use have completely changed my mind. I’ve constantly adjusted the height, often using it as a vocal stand for different singers, and not a single thread has stripped, no joint has become loose, and nothing has developed any noticeable play. After all these years, the stand honestly feels almost exactly the way it did when I bought it.
I use it together with a König & Meyer 21231 boom arm, plus another 21431 as an additional extension for microphone positioning. This combination has turned it into an incredibly versatile stand: perfect for vocals, overheads, orchestral recordings, choir sessions, and location recording where you need serious height and precise positioning.
I genuinely cannot think of a single downside. It has been completely reliable, extremely versatile, and built to last.
Probably the best experience I’ve ever had with a microphone stand. Worth every euro.
