Die neue GL Serie als Nachfolge der GE Serie ist erst im Septermber auf den Markt gekommen. Meine Entscheidung einen Flügel zu kaufen bestand schon seit einigen Monaten. Es blieb nur die Frage welchen. Als ich den Kawai GL 30 das erst mal im direkten Vergleich zu anderen vergleichbaren Flügeln testen konnte war ich sofort begeistert.
Die Millenium III Mechanik mit den beim neuen Modell längeren Tasten gefiel mir von Anfang an sehr gut. Sie repitiert sehr gut ist etwas leichter zu spielen als die gewohnte Mechanik aus Holz und weniger anfällig für klimatische Schwankungen.
Als zweites wesentliches Kriterium für den Flügelkauf war natürlich der Klang. Auch dieser überzeugte mich durch den etwas wärmeren Charakter im Vergleich zu anderen Herstellern. Auch gerade für einen relativ kurzen Flügel ist dieser beachtlich uns sehr ausdrucksstark.
Die Verarbeitung des Instruments ist sehr gut.
Gerade auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis zu anderen vergleichbaren Flügeln ist sehr gut.
Ich kann den Kawai GL 30 uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
