Amps is a winner

This intellijel vca is very useful for multiple tasks, great for boosting levels up and can be cv'd on both channels using one input so handy as a vca mixer with plenty of audio boost and expandable using a ribbon cable. To link multiple vca's together for bigger mixes, it will also perform many other vca duties including a ring modulator due to its various switches having phase inverting amongst other features,
All in all a good quality, good sounding, sturdily built module packed with useful features and also expandable, make this a great choice as an all-rounder vca

A wonderful module with one serious flaw

2 VCAs with a lot of controls, works great, allows you to amplify signals, flip their phase, and works as a mixer, a ring modulator - a very useful module.

The only serious flaw occurs when you connect 2 such modules. In my case there is a serious leakage between channels of two modules, I don't use them together for that reason.

Der Amps ist super. Ich besitze schon zwei Quad VCAs und war immer sehr zufrieden. Ich brauchte noch einen schmalen Dual VCA und hatte den uVCA von Intellijel schon oft im Visier. Dann kam der Amps raus. Er ist zwar 2HP größer, aber er kann auch durch gewisses Patchen zum Ringmodulator gewandelt werden. Weiterhin mag ich gerne Slider. Die Wege sind Lang genug und die beiden Slider lassen sich gut bedienen. Das Modul bleibt definitiv in meinem Sortiment und wird oft benutzt. Besonders in kleinen Set-Ups ist es sehr praktisch

Je fais tellement de choses avec ce module !
Préamp pour entrée ligne, side-chain, simple VCA ...
Au départ il me paraissait un peu cheap sur les finition, mais Itellijel démontre que finesse ne rime pas toujours avec fragilité.
