My first wah mute
I've been looking for wah mute very long time. In my city we do not have shop with mutes in stock, so it was more browsing e-shops and reviews on youtube.
I wanted to get that "Miles Davis" sound. While I was experimenting with stem positioning at the beginning, I ended up with playing without it.
I think, that quality/price ratio is excellent. The sound is there, mute is manufactured very well, came in good packaging and generally I am satisfied.
The only problem I had was with fitting the thing to my trumpet. I have rather old Bb Amati trumpet which I think is standard size and shape, but to my surprise mute was too narrow fit the bell. I fixed it with adding 1 extra layer of cork ring which I bought. Since then, no issues at all.
