stunning looks, not so stunning playability and overall package
The guitar looks really awesome at first but disappoints quickly which is a shame because it looks really awesome.
I'd stay away from this guitar and rather go with the significantly cheaper and better alternative, which is Harley Benton R-458FFB which is superior to this instrument in almost all aspects except high register access ( D shape neck is far more comfy than this chunky C, 8 string pickups size ( this one has 9 string ), non locking tuners that have better stability and ergonomics than these "locking ones" ), much lower weight... etc ).
Cons:
- it's extremely heavy, heaviest 8 string I ever tried
- the locking tuners are bad (those are cheaper alternatives of HB locking tuners you can buy separately, which are superior to these)
- tuners are very close to each other - very bad ergonomics when turning them. Also it ships with string mounted as those were not locking tuners... bad QC I guess
- fretboard is DRY as Sahara, I assume these guitars are on the warehouse since 2020 ( that would explain the state )
- strings have rust and are very dirty overall
- interestingly enough the neck through doesn't provide drastically improved ergonomics in upper register 😵💫
- uneven frets - fret buzz
- the thin C neck is not thin at all - very chunky ( seems the same neck as Schecter Omen Elite MS 8 )
- two truss rods wow ! they are also hard to adjust
- bad electronics - grounding issues, hum goes away only if you touch the saddle/fretboard

- nice fretwork overall (no sharp edges etc)
- nicely cut nut
- stunning look. finish almost perfect ( some scratches on neck are meh though )
