Gator G-Mix-B 2123

I bought this case to transport a Samson TXM16 powered mixer, which is a heavy lump of a thing, good though it is.
It's a sturdy case, well made with good strong zips and tough stitching. Nice size cable pocket on the front, and small rubber feet on the fat end for when you need to put it down.
The only improvement I would like to see at this price point would be shorter carrying handles. As a 6' man I still cannot carry it with my arm straight, and it would obviously not add any cost to manufacture to make them shorter – it's just an ergonomic oversight.
A rigid (plastic?) top of some sort would also be a good addition.

I bought this as I have no started gigging again and needed some way to transport my Behringer PMP6000 (which fits perfectly) without breaking the bank on a hard or flight case. This bag is well made of strong fabric and has a decent amount of padding so that the mixer can be safely transported in my car with a reasonable level of protection. The base of the bag is reinforced with a plastic/rubber panel so you can put it on the floor without worry. There is a large storage pocket on the front for accessories which has 4 velcro fastened loops to hold cables and is divided half way down into two sections - one where I keep DI boxes and adaptor plugs, and the other one I use for shorter and spare patch leads etc. I don't put too much in there because the mixer and empty bag already weigh in at 15kg.
As you would expect from Gator this is high quality product which I anticipate will give me years of service. It is obviously not going to offer the protection of a hard case, but without question it will reliably do what it is designed to do.
Definitely recommended.
