The best of active and passive

Wow these are monsters. Very high output, but still noise free and clean. Love these! You get the EMG tone and gain but with a bit of passive pickups (DiMarzio/Duncan etc.) feel. So you can use more of your picking dynamics. Love how they look too. In my 2013 Gibson Historic R9 the brushed metal still looks vintage from a distance. Also a great price from Thomann, as always!

Great high gain output perfect for metal and look great more on the expensive side but definitely worth the price

acheté pour remplacer le kit emg 81 de mon esp eclipse acheté d occasion ,les 81 c est pas mon truc ,trop raide et compressé à mon gout
c est mon premier achat de micro actifs depuis 25 ans ,ils sont tres beaux et la qualité du kit est top
montage simple sans soudure (j ai viré l ancienne électronique meme si je pouvais ne faire qu un changement de micro )
le résultat est génial ,très polyvalent ,mais ça reste moderne ,ami du vintage c est pas pour vous
en clean on peut avoir toutes les sonorités désirées en jouant avec l égalisation qui très efficace ,on a de la brillance, de la rondeur et de la propreté
en disto le micro chevalet est genial :grosse dynamique ,grosse attaque ,de bons mediums gras mais qui ne bavent pas ,ce qui permet de bien pousser le gain , des aigus précis et des basses bien assises
clairement ce sont de tres bons micros pour avoir un son moderne et punchy ,et ce coté gras chaud et ouvert, c est super sympa à jouer
si vous trouvez que ca manque un peu de basse ,l égalisation permet de remédier tres efficacement à ça ,en tournant la tonalité on peut ajouter des basses sans pour autant influer sur le reste du spectre ,et si on poursuit la course là on creusera les aigus

le micro grave lui est plus délicat , facilement utilisable en rythmique ,ça reste précis et pas gavé de graves
en solo c est précis fluide et réactif
c est un tres bon set de micros qui a de la gueule
je le conseille pour les rockeurs / métaleux de tous poils qui veulent de la polyvalence ,mais surtout de la dynamique ,de la précision ,et de la chaleur avec ce coté droit qui caractérise EMG
