Great pick but depends what youre used to
Great pick, i oscillate between Jazz III types, ultex, black ones, XL ones, but also the petrucci type and later found that the least impact on the sound and best maneuvering (at least for me) offer the smaller types with more thicker and conical shape. Meaning right now for me the very best one is the petrucci type (best of both worlds) then jazz III smaller version ultex, but third is definitely this one XL version. You do hear the pick in the tone a lot and you have to manuver it better because its size can get in the way, but out of the XL ones this one is by far the best for me.
It wears off after say 10-15 hours of playing which i think is normal. Overall great and precise pick.
