Looking for a clip for my saxophonists to use on events, I saw and used so many different options, all at different price points. After trying two quite useless clips, I decided to bite the bullet and go for the more expensive DPA option.

There's a reason why this clip is so expensive, it clearly works. It's a sturdy, high quality microphone clip which grips the mic tightly (although perhaps a small attachment to keep the mic in the 'sheath' part of the clip would be useful).

The clip itself fits snugly on both tenor and alto saxophones, and we've also had it used on trumpets and trombones as well to great success.

It's very clear that there's some great R&D gone into the clip itself, with a lot of thought and quality, even down to the packaging.

When looking for a clip for both DPA Mics and of course the excellent thomann Ovid system mics (which we use) - there's not many better options than this.

Love these mics

A great clip for a great microphone. We already stock a number of these for use with saxophone, and needed a few more. The order process with thomann is and has always been easy, simple and efficient. Delivery to us across the channel has always been smooth too, which is a bonus.

Lo he adquirido junto con un microfono ovid cc100. Totalmente compatible y en comparación con el accesorio origina de T. bone no tiene comparación. Vale caro, pero merece la pena.

Ich hatte letztens eine kleinere Trompete und zwei Basstrompeten zu verstärken. Auf keiner der drei ließ sich mit dieser Halterung das 4099 so befestigen, dass man beim Aufstehen oder bei Bewegungen auf der Bühne vertrauen haben konnte. Bei der kleineren Trompete fiel die Halterung fast von selbst herunter.
Obwohl man eigentlich nicht wirklich etwas falsch machen kann, habe ich zu Sicherheit noch einmal bei dpa nachgesehen, wie man sie am Trichter ansteckt - habe alles richtig gemacht. Ich hatte auch noch die günstige Variante vom ovid-System dabei. Diese funktionierte tadellos. Werde mit für meine 4099 jetzt aber auch noch die t.bone Ovid System Universal Clip anschaffen. Werden sehr vertrauenswürdig bewertet und passen auch für das 4099.
Für Sax hatte ich übrigens mit der dpa-Halterung nie Probleme.
