Bought this with the intention to replace my headphone wires, when they would break, but that hasn't yet happened.
So I made an extension using this cable, Rean NYS 231 L and Rean NYS 240 L jacks. And it works great, using the shielding as the ground.
This wire fits nicely in those jacks, easily takes solder and overfall feels very solid.
I am very happy about this.

Pleased with purchase
I bought 7 metres of this flat cable. I intended to split it down the middle, and that worked out perfectly, giving me 14 metres of lightweight (mono) shielded cable. The shielding is as basic as it gets, spiral-wound and not braided, with no foil layer, but was enough for me. The total diameter (when split) is @3.5mm.

Works well
Ive used it with Neutrik Rean NYS 208 and two Adam Hall 7514 Jack Plug mono 6,3mm, so now I have a 2m high quality cable which allows me to plug my audio devices with 6.3mm stereo output into audio mixer. Works like a charm. Soldered easily, doesn't effect the sound.

Great for less mission critical applications, still solid as a rock
Great to have this on hand for quick cabling needs, especially when you don't want to dip into any pricier stock you might have lying around.
Conductors take solder well and make quick cabling jobs even quicker.
Have made some really long runs of this with no measurable drop in signal quality.

Very high quality cable
This is very high quality cable, soft and pliable, and very easy to work with. I bought several meters of this with RCA connectors and soldering and crimping was very easy.

bought to use for short patch cables with 3.5mm jacks, splits easily
outer shield is soft to the touch, more flexible than cordial 2025, they are almost identical in spec but this is cheaper
