Yamaha TRBX 174 BL

This bass is really a steal for this price. The electronics is built solid, it is perfectly in tune, the output is never noisy, this just works really really nicely. You don't have to worry about having to fix the electronics, i've used it for almost a year and a cheaply made instruments would have already needed some repair. It has two knobs that control the volume of the two pickups and one knob that set the overall tone.
Just a reliable instrument.

I wanted a bedroom bass to jam with. This Yamaha fulfills the purpose wholeheartedly. Installed Ernie Ball Slinky strings and have never looked back - I don't see or am not competent bassist enough to notice any major defects or quality control issues - TRBX 174 does what it says on the tin! Yamaha speaks true when they say that this bass is also lighter than others.
Conclusion: efficent and inexpensive bass to practice with at home on an amateur level.

My young bass players love playing it. The sound quality is fantastic and the weight is perfect for young students to handle, not to heavy.

The bass is great after I spent €40 getting it set up in the guitar shop, for the cost of the bass it's should come setup, the action was crazy high and took over a week to arrive, that's being said after the action was lowered I love this bass

I am a guitar player who bought this bass mostly for home recordings as I am sick of programming MIDI. The bass on itself offers a great variety of tones and sounds very musical to me. All in all solid DI signal and my arrangements feel so much more alive now.
