It is an EDM sound source with a low cpu load.

An adaptable multi-purpose GREAT SOUNDING synth.
The u-he synths have such an amazingly warm analog sound and this is no exception. Though it builds on their strength with wavetable functions that allow for a greater diversity of sounds. A powerful synth!

Great allrounder
Hive 2 is on of my goto synths. It has a lot of modulation options (but still somewhat restricted!) and it's perfect for using with your own wabetables! It is fairly light on the CPU but can become an evil CPU-eating monster if you use a lot of LFO's. Especially after the MPE update (v.12.1).
