Thomann TR 25G Bb-Pocket Trumpet

I had the opportunity to visit the Thoman store recently. Right at the front door I noticed the "pocket trumpets" and out of curiosity I decided to play few of them. First puff and the trumpet took my breath away. A beautiful round tone that I really wasn't expecting was pouring from an instrument in price range of better dinner. I thought long and hard about something small to put in my backpack that wouldn't take up much space but would at least have some tone. This was the obvious my choice. The trumpet plays great except at the higher registers from A2 it starts to be a slight problem and the reverb is not so good. It's not a brass band instrument but for fun playing at the cottage, in the pub or just for practice it will be plenty for you. Maybe even the march would be fine. If you don't expect much, you get a lot. If you expect a lot, at least you'll have fun with this little guy.
