bright and aggresive
This is a pretty hot pickup, very aggresive sound, mid to high focused. can push the front of the amp hard. More open than emgs, not so compressed. Cleans up nicely with the volume knob.
tried it on a tele (alder body, maple neck/board) and a les paul style (full mahogany, rosewood board). Liked it better on the les paul, can be overwhelmingly bright on the tele with marshall style amps.
