Usual Schilke Excellent Quality
As with all Schilke products, this is excellent and well made product. For me personally, I find it a bit of a hybrid mouthpiece, but that is mostly because I like my mouthpieces very big!
However, this produces a much more cornet like sound than most Schilke cornet mouthpieces and is easier to blend into a section than, say, a Schilke 24.
I think a lot of players would get on very well with this if they use Schilke mouthpieces but want something a bit more traditionally cornet like in sound.
For me, it definitely has its place. And Schilke products are bomb proof in terms of quality and finish.
