Strong Midrange Flats
Bought to explore another flatwound sounds. As written here previously, the two lower strings need more time to settle, the two other strings are almost instantly mature sounding. They have a very powerful mid range which could benefit many basses. With my AV 64 JB it works perfectly, very live sound, nice sustain and balance, cut through the mix enormously but I can imagine that on some (precision) basses it could be a little too much. The feel is nice but not smooth as with other strings.
