Smooth
I was surprised with how easy this reed plays. I bought this when i was starting as a beginner (alto sax) and was amazed to find that it was much easier to use it than other reeds (namely 1,5 and 2,0) it is amazing for easy control of low as well as high notes and overall feels extremely comfortable. (i am addicted to this reed and will not recommend anything else. Found it perfect as a beginner and still use these a year later.

Ideal for beginners
It's been fine for me to produce a decent sound as a complete beginner with this reed.
