Good case for Thomann Euphonium
I wanted to have a hardcase for my Thomann compensating Euphonium. The Ortola case fits very well and is not too heavy. After about two years its still in excellent shape. No problems with the zippers or the handles. I haven't used the backstraps, they never felt comfortable enough. I haven't used it on airplane, so I can't say if it is stiff enough for very rough handling.

Good price-to-quality ratio in a product that very few others make
This is a well-made semi-rigid case - a design that was hard to find without spending an insane amount of money otherwise. Ortola have a bit of a niche here and this was a good replacement for a clunky hardshell case that came with the horn initially. In case anyone is wondering, it fits the Wessex Dolce EP100 Euphonium perfectly. It would be nice if the backpack straps were a little more padded and if the pocket was a little bit bigger or if there was a secondary pocket for cleaning materials etc... but hard to fault the general protection level you get from this for a very fair price. Highly recommended to students and pros on a budget alike.
