Odisei Music Travel Sax 2 Yellow Camel

I bought this after selling my older YDS which always go me stopped at customs because it looked like a rifle. This smaller unit looks more like an automatic pistol so airport security will be bound to check my bags. This is a nifty little unit with standard key layout. It’s very compact but amazing how they have got it functioning. Feels good to play. There are two issues I’ve found. One is the mouth piece fits straight onto the sac so it’s like playing a chubby clarinet. Yes there is an additional neck pack I appreciate but without this standard neck straps are too long and playing position is different. Playing with backing tracks and headphones works well although it is relying on cables. Blue tooth functionality would be better. Everything works off the app and it does log out so you always have to repair which is a pain. The app allows you to transpose the instrument so easy to pick up concert C music and play along. The sounds are a little less than inspiring. Yes I can choose to have my sax sound like a piano a guitar ir a twittering bird not sure who thought the last one was a good idea. It would be lovely to have more authentic sounds in the style of legendary performers.
In short nice and compact with good layout for practicing fingering.
