Excellent Dire Straits Tab

If, like me you like Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler's playing style - this book contains Dire Straits biggest and some of Mark Knopfler's solo hits.
I kinda had it with looking up tabs online- let's face it there is a lot out there and looking at 6 versions trying to figure out which one's right (or which bits sound right).

I can see that this TAB is written by people who have done their home work..

Some of the tabs are in alternate tuning (especially intros on Steel / Acoustic. If you have a spare acoustic lying around and don't mind tuning it DGDGBD then you're fine. Anyway - the book is totally accurate there! I had to find a good alternative way to play it (without having to switch guitars)..(yes, it is the infamous intro to "Romeo and Julliet")..

Most of the tabs are (fortunately) in standard tuning.. It's a great reference tool for some of the best guitar riffs ever written. Mark's picking style sometimes means a challenge - but hey, that's what practice is for, right?

Un songbook vraiment bien

On connait tous les tabs qu'on trouve sur le net, des transcriptions plus ou moins fidèles, voire incomplètes. En tant que fan du Mark Knopfler, je me suis pris ce book et je ne le regrette pas tellement il est complet et précis. Le support en lui-même est très agréable et facilite l'apprentissage de la chanson comparé aux écrans de tablette ou d'ordi.

Dieses Buch beinhaltet genau die Lieder, mit denen ich in meiner Jugend (und bis heute) die Dire Straits begeistert kennengelernt habe und nach wie vor gern höre.
Wie ich mich beim einstudieren anstelle, wird sich zeigen. Wenn es nicht so recht klappen will, liegt es ganz sicher nicht am Buch, denn das ist klasse, mit allem, was man zum einüben braucht. Und das ganze für einen mehr als angemessenen Preis.
