Extreme Value-For-Money .
This is genuinely one of my top three truly high-end yet incredibly budget-friendly guitars on the market today. We’re talking exceptional value for money here.
Believe it or not, I’d actually say it sounds and feels just a little better than our Fender Player (MK1). For the price, that’s seriously impressive.
The other two guitars are the Harley Benton ST-80 FR HH (the red one) and the Harley Benton SC-Custom III VBK. Both are absolutely out of this world when it comes to value for money, sounding and feeling as close as possible to a quality instrument in the €1,000–€1,500 price range at today’s prices.
If the tuners on the Harley Benton SC-Custom III VBK were locking tuners—or could be upgraded to locking ones—it would be the perfect guitar for me in the under-€1,000 category. In my opinion, it equals or even surpasses any Epiphone in this price range and, in some respects, even beats the Les Paul Studio models.
