Handy little clamp for percussion
Quite surprised by this one to be honest, it's very well made and durable. Stability and how well it holds in place does depend on hoop shape though. Examples: an inward shaped S-style triple flanged hoops offer a little "twisting" motion. Sonor Vintage Superprofile hoop has an ok fit. A standard outward shaped hoops offers perfect fit.
Application: Great for woodblocks without a need to add an extra stand or arm. If you fit a rattling instrument like tambourine or Meinl crasher, and hit the skin, the vibrations will of course trigger the percussion to go off, so bear that in mind.

Pretty solid
These rimclamps are a solid choice when needing to mount all sorts of fun goodies.
however, they are a bit finicky to tighten, there is a whole lot of travel before anything really happens
