Great
Great for practising at almost any time. Takes away the real feel of the cymbal but reduces almost all of the noise. Easy to put on and take off. A good inexpensive alternative to expensive low volume cymbals. Works great with mesh drum heads.

Ideal solution
These mats are ideal for reducing the volume of the cymbals. Of course the feel is a little bit different but its honestly not that significant. They reduce the volume by about 90% I would estimate, and they are so easy to put on and take off. In my opinion these are a much better option than low volume cymbals, as they are usually way too loud, and the cheaper ones really chew up your sticks. They have a bike shop smell, but this reduces with time.
