Best ragtime mallet
Most affordable truely ragtime feel mallet. Very general feel and weight for ragtime playing. The sound is really great as well - clear, crisp attack.

When in doubt: Blue Bob Becker
Excellent all-round mallets. Can be used for anything: Xylophone (with wood or synthetic bars), woodblock, this, that the other thing. When in doubt, it's usually ok to go for the Blue Bob Becker mallets, they won't disappoint :)

Great for practise, even for some solos. Almost, useless in an orchestra enviroment. Durable and has nice sound productions.
