I was a little sceptical at first but I definitely could hear the difference. My 22" sounds like a 24" now to me

Pleasantly surprised
Had read so many reviews and watched numerous videos and was still a bit unsure. Actually made a a savage difference! Gave my 22x18 birch bass drum a great boost to the low end but a focused sound. Definitely recommend trying
