Beware the frets
Decided on the Ignition bass instead of the HB Beatbass. Mainly for the name and potentially a better sound. Good points. Very well finished paintwork. Bad points.Tuners extremely lightweight and not smooth, so replacements ordered. Plastic nut very cheap. The main problem was the uneven frets. Probably because they were not seated flush with the fretboard. I have spent some time fret levelling. Now an acceptable bass. I should have returned it and bought a Beatbass that almost certainly would have been of better quality. However maybe I'm too picky 🤔
