Good old school flats for the price
I was curious about Thomanns HB flatwound strings. I love flats for the longetivity, feel and absence of overnoises. Truth is I prefer bit more modern tone of them so there are still some highs, like EB 2810 for example, but I also had old school totally smooth flats as La Bella Low Tension ones. HB flatwounds are on the old school, a lot. Sustain is weaker, which should not be surprising. Feel is ok, tho there is a bit of texture, unlike the La Bellas I had. Of course, there is extreme difference in price. So in the end, maybe not the ideal sound I was looking for, but great strings for the price. Tension is fine for 45-100 set in E. Easy to press down. Also, set I have bought was fine, I have read some bad packs reviews, but it did not happen to me. Thumb up.

za tie peniaze nieje o com
cisto zo srandy som si objednal tieto struny.. kedze rad pouzivam hladene struny na basu a tato cena ma prekvapila. Musim konstatovat ze som zdaleka necakal taky krasny zvuk . Pomer cena/kvalita 11/10
