I am very satisfied with this guitar. After thirty years, I am starting to play again, so I don't have much experience—I'm just comparing it to my previous guitar.
I bought a Schecter SGR for 300 EUR, but I was disappointed—the bridge was not aligned with the neck, the tuning machines didn't hold tuning, and the body, made of four glued pieces, had visible glue joints.
In contrast, the Harley Benton Fusion-III for 400 EUR is a guitar on a whole different level. I found absolutely no flaws in terms of build quality. The neck is pleasantly smooth and matte, the bridge is perfectly aligned with the neck, and the pickups are symmetrically positioned under the strings. It holds tuning well, has a comfortable ergonomic body, beautiful wood grain, and is lightweight.
The string action was slightly high, but it took just three minutes to adjust the bridge height. The neck relief didn’t need any modification, and I achieved a low action without any fret buzz.
The variety of pickup switching options makes this guitar an ideal starting choice for someone still searching for their perfect sound. The only minor imperfection is the selector potentiometer, which has a slight dead zone when turning in both directions. However, this does not affect functionality at all.
