Jose Arredondo’s modified British-style amps had a major influence on the sound of high-gain rock. Their sustain, richer overtones, tighter bass response and their particularly direct response made them the secret weapon of countless professional guitarists. The Jose 20 Series was developed by Dave Friedman in close collaboration with Marisol Arredondo, the daughter of Jose Arredondo. It delivers the unmistakable tone, playing feel and dynamics of the legendary 100-watt original – but in a more compact format with lower power output. Volume I and Volume II are internally bridged, thereby replicating the classic ‘channel jumping’ of traditional British-style amplifier.
