Fender PCKG57P

I got this for my Fender Player P-Bass to have a different feel as I was a bit bored of the white pickguard w/ black finish. It looked a lot better! Just a pickguard change almost made my bass like 60s P-bass. It is especially quite compatible with dark fretboards (rosewood, pau ferro). Recommended!

I was really turned off by the feel of this metal pickguard. If you accidentally touch it with your nails it feels really weird and not pleasant.
The quality and finish are good, but you should check if you can stand your nails touching a brushed metal.

looks like 50s pbass, I have a Fender Pbass Japanese .. I've swaped the white pickgard to golden .. and it's amazing now

It looks nice, but like pretty much everything with a Fender logo on the packaging it is also severely overpriced. You could almost buy an entire Harley Benton bass for this price!

I had to buy it anyway, because I was building a bass that was spec'ed to have a gold pickguard, and I couldn't find any other options on short notice.

Would I buy this again? Not unless someone asks me to build a P-style bass with a gold pickguard, and pays for the parts.

It is a beautiful piece of metal. But it won't fit your Squier or some of the other Fenders, so if you have the intention to buy this one for you Affinity get to know that you gonna have a hard work fitting it on your bass.

Fender seems to have a few of these. I thought that this would have been the lighter, more sandy looking gold, but it still seems dark to me. But maybe it is still lighter than the other more brassy looking one. Either way, it's a Fender branded anodized pickguard. Looks great on my P Bass and would probably look great on yours.

Beautiful addition to my 2011 American special P-bass. The only thing you should be careful is the holes on the "knob area"...haha! I didn't see that the new pickguard had one hole between the knobs (the classic white plastic pickguard has one hole over the knobs and two below them!!) so i had to make a new one! My bad...Plus be careful not to damage the fingerboard when you're gonna put it in place, it's anodized!! Of course my baby looks GREAT now!!!!

This fit without issue on some unknown brand Japanese P Bass copy I have from the late 80s. Looks really great with a sunburst finish and a rosewood fingerboard.

Bought this to replace a white pickguard on my Sunburst Fender P bass, it was a perfect fit! Highly recommended
