Thick and Durable
Bought it because I heard it sound good on metal snares and didn't realize it wouldn't sound so good on maple shell - But with a DieCast hoop it can sound banging on a wooden snare (tested). Still, it just sits better on a metal one: more ring and body. Though It has thougher rebound because it's that much thick. Allaround it's decent.
