A no brainer for an elektron nerd
I currently rock a 2x Digitakt II setup and mix between them using a KO Sidekick. Multiple Pedals , eurorack effects and a SP404-MK2 for fun / loops.
This is a dream come true , now i am able to do oh so much more in terms of audio routing and more.
It somewhat replaced my entry point into Eurorack - the endorphin.es Shuttle Control - as well.
It also is perfect for a video synth setup i have running on my PC - over are the days of having to sync up the video feedback and audio routes.
Just feed different tracks into different inputs of my audio interface.
1 star in features deducted - the more i use it the more i miss stuff like ::
- audo inputs as well
- maybe some way to directly address the Outbox Mixer directly via MIDI / CC? ( currenty subpage 6 on Digitakt is A LOT of clicking )
- Some Quantized or LFO way to send CV from the devices, in the Digitakt its just CC in the MIDI menu
But after all I bought two , wont return them ever. Am sure they will be my (hopefully) trusted setup corner stones for years to come as the Digitakt ( as a concept ) was the only thing that ever really clicked for me.
And maybe there will be firmware updates that add some MIDI options who knows.
But for what it is - Its Amazing. Bloody Amazing.

Works perfectly,
Had to update my Digitone II to the latest firmware. But after that it appeared, and worked perfectly. I like the way you can group the outputs to stereo pairs on the Digitone II, then use the onboard panning. That makes it work very well with a line level stereo mixer like the Heritage Mix Buddy. Only minor niggle is that it needs seperate power, and they don't supply a USB-c cable and power supply, only the USB-B to C, to communicate with the Digiboxes. It would have been better if it could be powered that way, from just one cable, but maybe there are technical limititations with powering from USB-B?
