Very versatile
I like this a lot. To be fair, it takes a little getting used - well, it did for me moving from a 20+ year old Morley pedal. But once you've got it you basically have three wah wah pedals in one (but you do need a separate pedal - kind you've probably got with any decent home recording deck - to get that original, vintage sound).

Amazing filter pedal for this price
For this price you can do everything you want
Pro's
Envelope Filter as well as Autowah
Sounds good and never clipping
Easy enough (a Filter pedal is always a bit searching between different parameters)
Also up mode and an extra normal mode
Expression pedal

I don't like the decay knob for the envelope modes. I'd rather had an Q/feedback function. Of course this is also why it is an easy pedal. They replaced the Q by an extra normal mode with higher Q.
Also I have the impression that the filter on the MD-200 sounds better But everything on the MD200 is very high quality of course, The AW-3 sounds good anyway.

Plenty of features
Works fine. It has perhaps too many features for me. I prefer pedals to be simple and uncomplicated. This version has a few too many options that I will never actually use. But that may suit other users.

This one is not the best of wahs, to but I needed to place it further up in the pedal chain and with this unit I can do it without long, soft patch cable loops. I use it together with a m-audio expression pedal. The extra humanizer effect is nice although I mainly use bass mode with a guitar. The only functional downside is that it cannot be bypassed by the expression pedal so starting to wah is not so quick.
