On of the best i tried but...
One of the best octavers i played, it follows notes real good even the low ones. They made a great reissue of a vintage classic, but i find it messes with my gain levels.

Good quality but 1 flaw
Very nice pedal, but there is volume difference between fully wet sound and the standby sound... (a lot of boss octaver pedals have that issue too) Yes you can mod this pedal to solve this, i have soldering and technical skills, but i felt too lazy to do it.
I did weeks, months of online research about bass octavers and also tried a few of them myself... Personally i like a bit of bark in the octaver sound and even volumes, i prefer the MXR bass octave deluxe (M88), Aguilar Octamizer.

Excellent value for money
I was so tempted to buy the more expensive (and presumably more authentic) Mu-tron version of this pedal but I am delighted that I saved myself a couple of hundred pounds and took a chance on the Behringer version instead. It is well built and sounds awesome.

Great sound, maybe too authentic a recreation
This pedal is part of my studio's array of effects and I have to say it works great on guitar, bass, monosynths. The "Ringer" effect is a nice analog octave up, and the ability to recreate some of the gnarlier Neil Young tones is a nice touch.
My only real grip, and it's a real gripe, is the power button on the top. The originals had a mains power supply cable hard wired in, and in their naivety they felt a power button was the best option. This version runs off a wall wart, there is no reason to need to "power" the effect off. It has convinced more than one client it's broken, and someday that switch will break and they'll be right. Silly design decision if there ever was one.
