Wow
What a difference this set made to a cheap import bass with crappy (and scratchy) minipots! They feel very very smooth, this set has all you need for a JB for a very attractive price. An upgrade well worth, all it takes is a soldering iron and a little patience but boy will you be rewarded after... P.S.: careful you might need new knobs, the diameter of the shafts is about 6.3mm

Probably the only wiring kits I'll ever buy again
The vintage-spec NOS pots and cap that came in this kit really were an upgrade on my Greco JB450.
Based on this experience, I'll be looking to Allparts wiring kits for any future projects.

Good upgrade option
I need this to upgrade a Squire bass I have. Great wiring kit. Sounds great too. Only negative is you’ll need new knobs as the CTS pots and pot shafts are larger than the Squire one. A great product and overall very pleased with it. I had a J wiring kit in use in a fender Jazz for a couple of years and have no issues with it.

Not good
The quality of the pots is OK. But when I soldered it (I'm an expert in soldering) I've expirienced cracks and clicks. The human "factor" I guess.
I don't like the "nossle" sound of the cap.
But it's cheap. So...

Did not fit, shaft diameter too big
Did not fit my Japanese model fender J bass face plate. Didn't want to drill the original part so will return for the harley benton version

Perfect!
Fitted this in a homemade Jazz bass along with Wilkinson pick-ups and Ernie Ball Slinky strings and it sounds exactly as a Jazz bass should. Really good quality pots, wire and capacitor and all easy to solder. Very happy.
