Really great, for small rooms
These are just perfect speakers for my desk. Overkill really. I don't make music, just really like to listen to tunes while I work. Nice and crisp sound. The low-end goes way deeper than you would expect. The volume won't be enough for a party in a medium room, but more than enough for me at my desk. The usb connection to my laptop works immediately without installing anything.
Small comments, but really nothing negative: - The speakers and feet are sturdy, but if someone would bump hard against my desk they probably will fall over. - More EQ options would be even better.
An upcoming firmware update will address two small niggles: the tweeter going inactive at low volumes, and sleepmode options (it currently shuts off after 20 mins, and doesn't have auto-wake). I'm happy that that firmware update is in the works.

ADAM!!!
My previous experience with adam speakers was in the studio. I've liked them ever since. I mostly play metal music and some ethno world music, now I decided on this model because I need small, portable speakers to record instruments and do basic editing. I immediately noticed that the sound coming out of my recording is more serious than the previous speakers. What I would like to emphasize is that they are ideal for my needs, that at normal volume and at low volume everything can be heard beautifully in the mix. These are speakers for near listening. It is ideal for my needs, just what I was looking for. I like that the speakers turn themselves off after 20 minutes because I don't have to turn them off every time, and I turn on easily. There are many great options and I recommend these speakers.

Fine elements, as expected from ADAM. Build is all plastic but solid enough.
Using the EQ notches in the back feels a bit weird, compared to non-coloring monitors, but I've managed to get a sound I like well wnough.
However, I wanted to bring up one very dumb design detail:
The speakers shut off automatically when there's no signal, and you have to turn them back on... by pressing the extremely sensitive volume knob, thus ensuring that you can never ever keep exactly the same volume level for more than a few hours.
This is frankly bafflingly dumb, but saved them a button in the construction costs, I guess.

Punch way above their size and price
A no nonsense small monitor with "big sound".
The way they translate to bigger monitor systems it's phenomenal and needs to be heard to believe. I can now mix and master away from my studio with full confidence. Mind you I bought a second pair for my laptop when I"m on the move after I've worked with the first one on my home desktop. Then in my studio I keep producing from where I left my project with minor to no changes at all concerning the frequency and gain balance. Impressive stuff indeed!

Great Monitors for their size!
Bought them for their small size, and they're a great addition for DT 1990. Update fixed tweeter issues. While they are not as detailed as the more pricier headphones, they still deliver great sound and good bass, but lower that 60~ hz they kinda fall off. Still amazing for their size!

The build quality is good and the
The sound is very good but I have hear better. First of all they are very near field, really only good on a small desk that you are sitting directly in front of.
Besides that, I find the treble a little bit harsh - not an audiophile and I can't explain it more poetically but that's basically it. Overall they sound phenomenal and you can accurately hear everything on masters, and they are portable - at this price point that is incredible so I am very happy with them.

The soundquality is just ridiculously good, for this size and priced monitors, if you are looking for a compact speaker, look no further.

Guys the sound is unbelievable with a lot of setting controls especially after the new update i never thought it has the ability to do that update a fast respond from ADAM company to the users demand was perfect and fast, the amendment on the tweeter and the power knob was grate.

Impressive
The sound is impressive for such a small footprint. I wouldn't use them as reference speakers during mixing, but they're good enough to work on the go and to write music. In my opinion, they're the best bedroom producer's monitoring rig.

Small but packs a punch!
I got these to replace my old studio monitors that were way too big for my current needs. Honestly they sound even better than the old monitors despite being probably less than a fifth of their size and I have not noticed a lack in low end. The quality also feels great, I was expecting them to feel a lot less sturdy.
