ABM 6250 Webster Nut Bass

I found this nut a really useful idea, where I can individually adjust the height of each string but the screws penetrate the bottom of the nut which meant I had to drill some holes to get the action I needed, something I wasn't expecting and I feel May compromise the integrity of the neck. The screws are made with the best intention but I think will wear quickly given the material, making later adjustment difficult. Good idea just needs some final engineering.

That's a great idea with one fatal flaw - unlike the regular cut nut the screws are not at an angle, so the B string, which is too stiff to bend at a sharp corner, intonates at the beginning of the nut making open string permanently flat.

Fantastic high quality brass nut made in different lengths to suit your preferred fretting width. Very well made with notches for filing to suit your string gauge with ease. This is the original adjustable nut that has been widely copied by other manufacturers. You simply turn the small screws up or down to suit the desired individual string height and your done! Simply, the best nut on the market - I use nothing else!!!

In fairness to this nut I was running some very heavy strings on this nut. However I had to do some additional filling to stop the strings jumping out of position during playing. Tricky to adjust but useable

Hard to find such a nice nut.

I just replaced the stock nut with this one and in minutes I have set up the right height very easy and without filling and getting messy!
